Investment Style / Investment Process - Disciplined and Systematic Quality Investments
CEAMS Quality Investing is an investment style that has its own performance and risk characteristics for both equities and bonds.
- The CEAMS Quality Equities Investment Style is completely autonomous and independent of the best-known investment styles in the equity segment - Value and Growth. Depending on the market cycle, our Quality Equity portfolios and products may therefore contain equities with a Growth or a Value bias.
- The CEAMS Quality Bond Investment Style is based on bonds with an investment grade rating as a minimum, but is more responsive to the market thanks to a specially developed Quality filter that is independent of conventional ratings, as well as its monthly analysis and investment process.
CEAMS Investment Process
Investments are selected on the basis of a systematic and disciplined monthly investment process which is the same for equities and bonds alike. Our selection criteria are the same in all markets, but may vary in detail according to regional circumstances. The criteria in general remain unchanged. The monthly investment process at CEAMS · CE Asset Management comprises the following steps:
- Quantitative evaluation of financial figures (Research)
- Qualitative evaluation and investment and divestment decisions (Research / Investment Committee)
- Implementation of investment and divestment decisions (Portfolio Management)
- Ongoing monitoring of composition, performance and risk parameters (Product Controlling).
