In addition to the two CEAMS • CE Asset Management AG founders, Markus P. Hepp and Dr. Philipp Weckherlin - who have dedicated themselves closely to their belief in Quality investments for many years - the partners and members of the Executive Management also comprise Arnold Davis and Dr. Friedrich Schmitz. They all have many years of professional and management experience in the finance and other industries.
Markus P. Hepp
Markus P. Hepp holds a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Management (M.S.M.) from Boston University. He has worked primarily in senior positions at Credit Suisse, latterly as Managing Director and Head of Investment Funds, as well as Global Head of the Securities and Forex Division.
Dr. Philipp Weckherlin
Dr. Philipp Weckherlin holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He spent many years in senior positions at Swiss Banking Corporation (now part of UBS), the Boston Consulting Group and at Roland Berger & Partner.
Arnold Davis
Following a banking traineeship at the former SKA (Schweizerische Kreditanstalt) Arnold Davis worked mainly for DG Bank Schweiz, which was renamed Cosba Private Banking in 2001. Between 1976 and 2003 he worked for the company in a number of positions in portfolio management and securities trading, before ultimately being appointed Director General. He then moved to the Verband Schweizerischer Raiffeisenbanken (the association of Swiss agricultural credit cooperatives), where he was involved in consulting and sales for companies, institutional clients and third-party banks.
Dr. Friedrich Schmitz
In his most recent position, Dr. Friedrich Schmitz - who holds doctorates in law from the Universities of Paris and Mainz - was responsible for global asset management activities on the Executive Board of the German Commerzbank AG. He was previously divisional head in charge of European institutional asset management at Deutsche Bank.
The partners and members of management are supported by Fredy Christen and Robert W. Eichenberger, who looks after institutional clients in Switzerland.
Fredy Christen
Fredy Christen began his career at Zürcher Kantonalbank, before working at several industrial companies, where he was in charge of sales within Switzerland. He returned to the financial sector in 1990, heading up the Winterthur Investment Foundation (AWi) as its managing director until his retirement.
Robert W. Eichenberger
Robert W. Eichenberger holds a Master of Arts from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and an Executive Program diploma from the Swiss Finance Institute.
He previously headed the Winterthur occupational pensions investment foundation (AWi), and held a number of management posts at AON (risk management advisory), Swiss Life (investor relations and bank sales) and UBS (investment banking).
